Although I found two other sketches this one is the main inspiration for the bust. Pyle's pirate had that look that went on to firmly establish themselves in print and film that continues today.

- I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania where I currently live with my family. My interests grew out of a facination with military uniforms. It progressed from playing with toy soldiers to sculpting Historical Miniatures. In addition to sculpting I've begun painting figure studies of the subjects that interest me most.
